Yesterday I was lucky enough to be invited along to the official launch of Westfield's Future Fashion exhibition, which has this week taken over The Atrium of the Shepherd's Bush centre before transforming the Stratford City space from April 4th-9th. Engineered as a celebration of all digital style, Future Fashion offers a really innovative, 21st century twist on shopping. Dominating the space are a series of styling cubes, all themed around SS12's key trends and showcasing the best of what Westfield's wonderful array of stores have to offer. At the front of each of these cubes sits a super hi-tech interactive screen, which allows you to create your own personalised SS12 mood board and then instantly email the finished product, complete with a breakdown of where you can snap up the pieces which have caught your eye. Here's the collage which I put together:

Blazer, £34.99, Mango, Shoes, £65, Topshop, Bag, £38, Topshop, Nail Varnish, £18, Deborah Lippmann at House of Fraser, Ring, £8, Accessorize, Dress, Twenty8Twelve.
If that wasn't enough, Future Fashion also incorporates some amazing digital features, including a Tweet Mirror, a real time Tweet map tracking the stylish goings on in and around London and a luxurious lounge which is hosting some amazing talks and workshops over the next week or so (these will also carry on at Stratford City.) Most impressive of all, however, is the 3D fashion show, which immerses you in the pick of the fashions on offer at Westfield for this season- definitely worth a peek if you're looking for some summer inspiration.

...and the Tweet Mirror.

 The Future Fashion Lounge.

The styling cubes take pride of place in The Atrium.

Overall, it was a great morning and I had so much fun trying out all of the technology- it's a really great way of fully immersing yourself in the Westfield experience and sharing your favourite finds at the touch of a button. Thanks to Megan for inviting me along!

Future Fashion runs at Westfield London until April 1st before transferring to Westfield Stratford City on April 4th. To find out more visit the Westfield website. (And be sure to keep an eye out for some special Future Fashion discounts in selected stores!)

What do you think of this idea? Will you be popping along to try out the Future Fashion experience for yourself?
